WatMac Productions was founded by two young women with a shared passion for film and a vision for change. Growing up aware of the industry's scale and influence, we saw its potential, and its flaws. So, we set out to build something different: a production company rooted in purpose, equity, and fearless storytelling.

At WatMac Productions, our purpose is to create films that make a real impact. We’re driven by the belief that storytelling should go beyond entertainment, it should raise awareness, challenge injustice, and amplify voices that are too often ignored. As two young women in a traditionally exclusive industry, we’re committed to doing things differently: telling bold, purposeful stories and using our platform to inspire change.

Beatrice Watson
A writer, producer, and director passionate about storytelling that challenges, connects, and leaves a lasting impact. I’m especially drawn to crime dramas and mysteries that explore identity and human complexity.
Martha Macpherson
A director and cinematographer passionate about honest, visually driven storytelling. I’m drawn to emotionally rich narratives and love collaborating to craft powerful, intentional films that resonate.
